Pouyan Pazargadi

Holiday demand on Amazon is not only shoppers buying for family. Offices, schools, hospitals, and small companies are buying corporate gifts, employee recognition items, and year-end supplies at the same time โ€” and many of them shop through Amazon Business.

As a Professional seller, you can reach those buyers with business-only prices, quantity discounts, certifications, and, new in 2026, Amazon Business Deals: exclusive B2B deals with their own Black Friday and Cyber Monday discount rules.

This guide covers setup, business prices and quantity discount tiers, the Business Savings Blue Badge, the new deal rules, and B2B ads for Q4, based on what Amazon has published.

What Amazon Business Is and Why It Matters in Q4

Amazon Business is Amazon's store for organizations. On its Amazon Business seller page, Amazon describes the selling program as a set of B2B features โ€” customized prices, bulk selection, certifications, and business-friendly delivery โ€” that help sellers reach business customers shopping on Amazon Business.

In a July 2026 Amazon Business update, Amazon said more than 11 million organizations use Amazon Business, which drove $60 billion in annualized gross sales in Q2 2026. The same post says it serves organizations across 11 countries, including 97 of the Fortune 100.

Who Buys and What They Want

Amazon's 2026 holiday advertising guide says business shoppers on Amazon Business actively shop for corporate gifts, employee recognition items, and year-end supplies across shopping events, and that business purchasing does not pause for the holidays. Amazon's pricing guide adds that many organizations buy in bulk around fiscal year-end and ahead of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Getting Started: Professional Account and B2B Central

Amazon lists five steps on its Amazon Business seller page:

  1. Sign up for a Professional selling account (or log in to Seller Central). B2B features live under B2B > B2B Central in the main menu. If you have an Individual account, Amazon says you can upgrade anytime from Settings > Account Info > Manage under Your Services.
  2. Add B2B products to your catalog with normal listing processes. Amazon also suggests package hierarchies so you can list products as single units, case packs, and pallets.
  3. Set business prices and quantity discounts, which Amazon says can increase visibility and your chances of becoming the Featured Offer.
  4. Add certifications and create a business profile on your seller profile.
  5. Try other B2B tools in B2B Central, such as Manage quotes, Case Pack Product Opportunities, and Business Discounts Insights.

Fulfillment: FBA Works for Business Orders

You do not need a separate logistics setup. Amazon's FAQ says you have the same fulfillment options for B2B orders as for retail orders: fulfill directly, use Fulfillment by Amazon, or mix both per product. With FBA, B2B orders ship from the same inventory pool as retail orders, minus any inventory reserved for business-only offers. Because business orders can be larger, plan Q4 stock with our guides to FBA capacity limits and holiday peak fulfillment fees.

Business Prices and Quantity Discounts

Amazon's guide How to set B2B prices and quantity discounts explains the two basic pricing options.

Business Prices

A business price is a per-unit price available only to Amazon Business customers, and lower than your standard price. Amazon's example: a box of pens sold for $10 to regular shoppers might be $8 for business customers.

Quantity Discounts

Quantity discounts reward bulk purchases and come in two formats:

  • Percent off โ€” a percentage discount once the customer buys a minimum quantity.
  • Fixed price โ€” a specific lower per-unit price at a minimum quantity.

Business customers see a quantity discount table on the product detail page. You can add up to five tiers, and each higher tier must offer a lower per-unit price. Amazon's FAQ explains that if a higher tier has a smaller discount than the tier before it, that tier is removed, which is why a seller might set five tiers but see only four. Amazon says three to five tiers is often ideal.

Amazon also reports that in 2024, products with business prices saw an average 10% sales lift and 11% more units sold, while quantity discounts drove a 20% sales lift and 25% more units sold (Amazon internal data, from sellers with $80,000 or more in annualized sales). Treat that as Amazon's benchmark, not a promise for your listing.

How to Set Them in Seller Central

  1. Go to Inventory > Manage All Inventory.
  2. In the "Price and shipping cost" column, select Set next to "Business price" to open the Business Price action panel. If you do not see it, turn it on under Preferences.
  3. Enter the business price, choose % off or Fixed Price, and select Add more thresholds to build up to five tiers.
  4. Save. Amazon says business prices appear in Seller Central immediately but may take up to 15 minutes to show to business customers.

The Business Price action panel also compares your business price with the Business Savings Blue Badge price and the B2B Featured Offer price, and suggests quantity discounts.

Price for Retail and Business Buyers With Confidence

Business prices and quantity discounts only work when you know your true per-unit cost. Bubba Academy's step-by-step program shows Amazon sellers how to price, fulfill, and promote products so every discount tier still makes sense.

Business-Only Offers and Automated B2B Pricing

If a product is built for business use, you can create a business-only offer by adding a product with a business price and leaving the standard price blank. Existing products must be deleted from inventory first.

Automate Pricing Rules for Business Customers

Amazon describes three automated business pricing rules:

  • Business Catalog rule by Amazon โ€” applies percentage discounts across your whole catalog, including new SKUs.
  • Business Price and Quantity Discounts rule โ€” sets business prices and quantity discounts at the SKU level.
  • Business Competitive Featured Offer rule โ€” adjusts business prices to compete for the Business Featured Offer.

How Rules Interact With Promotions

Per Amazon: promotions and coupons on your standard price do not affect business prices managed by Automate Pricing. Deal prices can affect business prices during the deal window, because percentage discounts apply to the deal price. And if your standard price falls below your minimum price threshold, the rule pauses for that SKU and the SKU could be suppressed. Before Black Friday, check each rule against your planned coupons and deals so a stacked discount does not wipe out your margin.

Earn the Business Savings Blue Badge

Competitive business prices and quantity discounts can earn the Business Savings Blue Badge, which Amazon says can appear in search results and in select featured selections on the Business Home Page. Customers see messages such as "Save 5% on 10+ units." Amazon's published requirements:

  • For single-unit business prices, at least a 5% discount off the standard price
  • For quantity discounts, at least a 3% discount on the first tier
  • A product rating of at least 4 stars

A product can qualify through quantity discounts even if its single-unit business price does not. You can check single-unit badge eligibility on Manage All Inventory. Amazon also says B2B buyers are 3x more likely than B2C buyers to purchase an item after viewing its product page (Amazon internal data, January to June 2023). The 4-star requirement is another reason to keep reviews healthy; see our legit reviews playbook and Voice of the Customer guide.

Amazon Business Deals: New B2B Deals for Black Friday

Amazon announced in a Seller Central news post that starting August 31, 2026, sellers can create exclusive, limited-time deals for business customers through Amazon Business Deals. The sell.amazon.com announcement (September 23, 2026) says the deals carry no additional fees.

How Business Deals Work

  • Deals can run from one hour to 30 days, as Fixed Price or Percent Off promotions.
  • Products need a 3.5+ star rating, new condition, and must meet pricing and seller performance requirements.
  • Minimum discounts are at least 10% off for regular deals and 15% for High Velocity Event deals such as Prime Big Deal Days, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday.
  • During major events, deals may get extra visibility through dedicated email and push notification campaigns; the Seller Central post says that is at no additional cost until December 31, 2026.
  • Amazon lists availability in the US, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, Mexico, and Australia.

How to Create One

Amazon says Business Deals live in the Price Discounts tool for products that already have a Business Price. Go to Promotions and select All Business Customers as the audience. Because a business price is required first, set your business prices well before the Black Friday window, then build the deal on top. For how consumer deals and coupons compare, see our promotions guide; for targeting your own past buyers, see Brand Tailored Promotions.

Reaching Business Buyers With Amazon Ads

Amazon's holiday advertising guide names two Amazon Business ad features:

  • Bid Adjustment for Amazon Business โ€” raise Sponsored Products bids by up to 900% for Amazon Business placements. Amazon suggests starting small with a 20โ€“50% increase, running about two weeks, then reviewing performance.
  • Exclusive Campaigns for Amazon Business โ€” Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands campaigns that appear only on Amazon Business, so you can reach B2B shoppers without changing consumer-facing ads.

The B2B Holiday Calendar

The guide says the Business Gift Guide event on Amazon Business runs from October through December, followed by Prime Big Deal Days, Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and the Business Savings Event from late December into January. Amazon recommends starting B2B campaigns in October alongside consumer campaigns and treating the season as one continuous window rather than isolated retail moments. Our post on top-of-search bid adjustments covers the logic in more depth.

A Q4 Amazon Business Checklist

  1. Pick a short list of SKUs with Business Discount Insights or Growth Opportunities, which ranks B2B pricing recommendations by potential sales lift.
  2. Set business prices that clear the 5% Blue Badge threshold where your margin allows, and test the Business Price action panel's suggestions.
  3. Add three to five quantity tiers, each with a deeper discount, starting at the 3% first-tier badge threshold or higher.
  4. Audit Automate Pricing rules against planned consumer deals so deal windows do not push business prices too low.
  5. Create an Amazon Business Deal for Black Friday and Cyber Monday at 15% or more on eligible 3.5+ star SKUs.
  6. Test a modest Amazon Business bid adjustment or an exclusive Amazon Business campaign, and review after about two weeks.

Business orders also count toward your Featured Offer performance, so keep pricing healthy with our Featured Offer / Buy Box guide. For recurring office consumables, Subscribe & Save can be a natural partner, and our Account Health guide helps you keep the performance standards deals require.

Your next step: Open Manage All Inventory today, set a business price on your best-selling FBA SKU, and add two quantity tiers so it is eligible for an Amazon Business Deal before Black Friday.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a separate account to sell on Amazon Business?

No. Amazon says you need a Professional selling account. Business features are in Seller Central under B2B, then B2B Central. Individual sellers can upgrade to a Professional account anytime.

Can I use FBA for Amazon Business orders?

Yes. Amazon says you have the same fulfillment options for B2B and retail orders. With FBA, B2B orders use the same inventory pool as retail orders, minus inventory reserved for business-only offers.

What discount does an Amazon Business Deal need?

Amazon says Business Deals need at least 10% off for regular deals and 15% for High Velocity Event deals such as Prime Big Deal Days, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday. Products need a 3.5+ star rating and must be new.

How do I earn the Business Savings Blue Badge?

Amazon lists at least a 5% discount off standard price for single-unit business prices, or at least 3% on the first quantity tier, plus a product rating of at least 4 stars.

Why do I see only four quantity tiers when I set five?

Amazon says each higher tier must give a deeper discount. If a higher-quantity tier has a smaller discount than the tier before it, that tier is removed because it would charge more for a larger quantity.
